Privacy policy

Firmo is a gym buddy on WhatsApp. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. In short: we use your data only to run Firmo, and it is never sold or used for advertising.

Who runs Firmo

Firmo is operated by Yusuf Delvi, India. Questions or requests: hello@firmo.fit.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your WhatsApp number, optional first name and fitness goal, a record of your consent (the exact wording and when you gave it), where you came from (the referring site and campaign tags), and a one-way hash of your IP address used only to stop abuse.
• Using Kai on WhatsApp: your WhatsApp number and profile name, the messages you send, and what Kai records from them: workouts, body stats such as weight, and any pain or injury notes you share.
• This website: cookie-free, aggregate visit statistics. No advertising trackers.

Why we use it

• To log your training, show your history and celebrate your progress.
• To message you on WhatsApp when Firmo is ready, if you joined the waitlist and ticked the consent box.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

Who processes it for us

We rely on these providers to run Firmo. Each processes data only to provide their service:

• Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform): delivers messages.
• Cloudflare: hosts Kai, our DNS, bot protection and website statistics.
• Neon: our database.
• Vercel: hosts this website.
• OpenRouter, and the AI model providers it routes to (currently Google and OpenAI): read your messages to understand what you logged.

What we never do

Your data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared beyond the providers above.

How long we keep it

• Waitlist entries: until we have invited you, or until you ask us to remove you.
• Your training data: for as long as you use Firmo. Ask us any time to delete it.

Deleting your data

Email hello@firmo.fit from any address with the WhatsApp number you used, and ask for your data to be deleted. We confirm and delete it within 30 days. You can also ask for a copy of your data or for corrections in the same way.

Children

Firmo is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell active users through Kai.
